Hi folks i'm trying to find out the artist/title of a particular tune used in the film 28 Days Later. It is the tune used where Jim wakes up in the hospital and walks around a deserted London. It starts off as a very simple repeating guitar riff then gradually builds up into a huge crescendo of noise. Can anyone help?

I am not 100% certain but it sounds a lot like "Godspeed you! black emperor" who do a lot of that heavy, crescending guitar music.  Try track 2 on this link....

the track is called "rage" and was written specifically for the film by John Murphy. He also wrote the track "In the house" later in the film which has a similar feel and was used in a car advert a few months ago where the cars occupants all got out with creases in the balck of them.
