Greetings.
Can anyone recommend a good FREE version of music notation software please?
Most people know of products like "Sibelius" but: Who the hell can afford 'em?!!!!!

Before I got SIbelius, I used to use Noteworthy - http://www.noteworthysoftware.com/ . It's only free as a 30 day trial, and then it's $49 in funny money, but when I had mine, I ran it on the trial installation for a couple of years. If that's not changed, you might learn to live with the save restrictions on it.

I also use Noteworthy. The $49 price tag is good value for money, IMO. As with all things, you (don't) get what you (don't) pay for...
