I was unaware that his cat was injured or unwell but I'll happily pass along my best wishes for his/her swift recovery.

Thanks Buenchico - he posted about three weeks ago to say his cat was being sick all the time, keeping nothing in. My Rover (my avatar) was like that last year, and the vet diagnosed kidney failure (which doesn't present until it's pretty severe in cats) so BOL was going to take his cat back to the vet and ask for a second opinion. Rover has a daily tablet and is back to his normal bouncy self - occasional chuck-up - but then who doesn't? I'm hoping BOL's cat will recover too, I'd like to know.
