Rock with the Cavemen - Lionel Bart - 1956
The hit he is most known for is 'Little White Bull', co-written by the late  Mike Pratt who played Jeff Randall in the TV series 'Randall And Hopkirk Deceased'. And while you're storing that away for that killer pup quiz question, Jeff Randall's son plays bass for Pink Floyd when they tour - so you can make a fiendish 'What's The Connection Beteen ....?' question out of that information. Sad? Moi?
Tommy took "Singing the Blues" to number 1 in 1956. That was his first number 1.
