trying to find a scottish song i heard as a boy cant quite remember the song title but was about flinging bread out a twenty storey glasgow tenement building and how 700 hundred hungry children or as words in song go seven hunner hungry weans will testify to that. anyone remember this song and what its called and as it is a trad scottish song anyone that sang it help much appreciated

A scottish work colleague reliably informs me it was a Billy Connolly song. Still looking for it.......

It's called The Jeely Piece Song, I can just remember the chorus.

Davey, I've just found the lyrics and more info on this by putting jeely piece into google.

found a lot as suggested on google now my next question anywhere i can download teh complete song i have tried on win mx but to no avail
