Hi Arrymong,
Two really quick questions,
do you have enough space on the ipod?
Is all of the music in your itunes library directly linked to your pc?
I have some of my music in my library stored in an external hard drive and it will not always sync if it is not plugged into my pc.

hi tobs
yes all the music is on the pc and the ipod is 120 gig classic
cheers
I don't know if this will help but I've had a sort of similar problem manually adding and delete tracks on my various iPods. None of my three iPods have a big enough capacity to hold all of my 3,000 tracks as yours does so I download them as follows:

Connect iPod
When loaded, click iPod on upper line (showed by diagram)
Tick Manually manage Music
Click Music in left hand column (under Summary)
Tick Sync Music
Tick Remove & Sync
The boxes should appear and all playlists ticked should download to an iPod once syncing is carried out.

My computer operates on Windows 7 (converted from XP) and I have the latest Apple update installed which caused me no end of trouble after previously being able to select my iPod's playlists very easily.
