She found herself in Jamaica with a sum of money paid for making a TV commercial. Because the law forbade her from leaving the island with the money in cash, she arranged to pay to record a single, which was re-mixed by Tom Moulton, one of the hottest DJ re-mixers of the time, and it was a big hit. The lyric "...get the camers rolling, ger the action going ..." has a certain frisson when you consider that at the time her song was on the radio, you could observe Ms True in her 'other' career at any adult movie theatre in America. One more hit, and her pop career was over - her current activites remaain a mystery.
