hI love the English/British composers who can translate the countryside into their music, such as E J Moeran, Vaughan Williams, George Butterworth...muted strings and beautiful oboe lines...so please could anyone add more like composers who are available on CDs or like media? Ta Muchly.h

I presume you've left Delius out of the list on purpose! There are other English composers such as Arnold Bax, Percy Grainger, Gerald Finzi, etc. but really the style was perfected by Delius and then Vaughan Williams and, in my opinion, has never been bettered.
