hi there wots the best way to clean dirty finger marks etc off vinyl records

Warm water with a little washing up liquid. Dip record in water but avoid getting the label wet. Gentley rub area with fingers while submerged, or when drying with a micropor lens cloth available from opticians.

the soft cloth you use for cleaning glasses is the best thing and nothing else. just use a little pressure and wipe going around the vinyl.
