Anyone know what has become of NEIL REID, the (then) young singer who had a huge hit in the early 70s with MOTHER OF MINE?

Unable or unwilling to "do an Aled" and make the transition from child star to adult one, he gave up singing when his voice broke. Apparently he was recently featured (along with others) on some "where are they now" type TV show - he now works as a financial adviser in Blackpool.

Oh my goodness - what a blast from the past! Not only was Mother of Mine the first single I bought but I actually went to see Neil Reid in concert!
