I think it's from a movie soundtrack.
I just heard it on x factor tonight, it had piano and strings and it was just an instrumental it was so beautiful but i don't what it is, i'm pretty sure its from a film can anyone help me?

Hey there, I get the feeling you might be talking about Ian Brown's - F.E.A.R. Loads of string instruments??? If it is it's defo worth downloading, Quality TUNE!!! Every line of the song begins with F then E then A then R!!! eg. Forgive Everybody and Remember, For Everything, A Reason!!!!

for a second i thought it was it, the intro deffingatly sounds like it, but theres no lyrics or drums, it was just this amazing piano string score that i know ive heard it somewhere but i don't know where lol

They played music from Last of the Mohicans tonight, but I think the piece you are talking about might be Hoppipolla by Sigur Ros - used quite a lot in Planet Earth.

no thats not it, it kind of sounded like the soundtrack for pearl harbor that sort of thing, but it was slower with less instrumentation.

They use music from the American Beauty film and also music from various Craig Armstrong albums and soundtracks - check out his track "Weather Storm" as that sounds a little bit like what you're looking for.

i think the music you are talking about is by a guy called Ludovico Einaudi - I heard his music used a few times on films etc and then caught it once on Classic FM. He has a website (sorry - dont know how to post links!) and his albums are available in HMV.. hope this is the one you are thinking of xx
