It's all subjective obviously, but.................

I thought that they were a genuinely great band with real quality songwriting from the first ska type singles which were great fun (night boat etc) and good to dance too, the mid-period classic pop (embarassment/my girl) and my fave era towards the end of their original incarnation with singles such as Michael Caine, One Better Day and Yesterday's Men.

I even loved the comeback single 'Lovestruck' too.

And I'm a rock fan!!
