heard song on the radio didnt catch name of song or band the chorus goes ; this is my world today and i wouldnt want it any other way in my world; sounds late 90s onwards

brachiopod is correct My world by secret affair - a mod band who existed between 1978 and 1982 - although they have got back together in recent times.
There fans were known as glory boys.
They had hits with "Time for Action", "Let your heart Dance", "My World" and "Sound of Confusion".
They had 3 LPs and split after the last failed in the charts.
