ipod help please

I'm trying to down load music onto my ipod, i am doing what i think is correct but everytime i check the computer to see if the music has sync across they have but when i check my ipod nothing is there Has anybody please got any answers

Hi, Sharond - you don't specify what type of iPod you have, but it might be something as simple as making sure you have the latest version of the iPod Updater software.

Oops, forgot : Make sure you don't have your preferences set to sync manually - in which case your iPod is waiting for you to drag/drop playlists - as opposed to it autosynching itself as soon as you connect it to the computer.
