Sun... Sun... Sun... by Jakki
Does anyone know anything about the track Sun.. Sun... Sun... by Jakki. It features on the Larry Levan Live at the Paradise Garage CD but I don't know any more about it other than that. Does it appear on any other compilation?

As far as i know Jakki only ever had two singles Sun... and You are the Star.
Sun appeared on a compilation in 1977 called The Best Disco in Town which is very rare now but if you buy the vinyl version of the Paradise garage compilation the full version is on there. The twelve inch version is also very rare and i see it has gone on ebay for anywhere between $70 and $200!
Jakki is one of those many disco stars that seemingly burned brightly and disappeared very quickly.
What i do know about the track is that it is ace and if you want it perhaps you should just get the unmixed vinyl version of the Larry levan compilation (like me!)
