does anyone know name/artist of a track i heard last night. Its basically the old Jungle Bros. 'Girl I'll House you' back back with the famous 'Can You Feel It' sample. I think its a re-release as it dates back to late 80s

I'm a bit confused because the 'original' version of 'Girl i'll house you' from 1988 was basically the Jungle Brothers rapping over a version of Can you Party? by Royal House (aka Todd Terry) which to me sounds exactly like the track you are describing.
Perhaps youve heard a remix of "girl...' in the mean time and presumed that was the original (it was remixed in the late 90's in a drum and bass styleeee)?

i think gary baldy maybe getting confused....i dont think booldawg means the jacksons can u feel it. the todd terry song did sing out can u feel it.

i too heard it recently, but not aware of a re-release

Who mentioned The Jacksons?
Can you Party? starts with the Jacksons sample (in fact it was the first track to use it) and because it was wholly based on it so did "Girl I'll House You".

r u hot on samples then? i always hear songs that have sampled old soul stuff & it bugs me like hell when i can't remember them. I f you answer yes then i will expect prompt replies ( oh & in case u r wondering i always move my feet...no frying pans please!!!)

unfortuately both the 'can you feel it' and the orchestra hit in the backing track were heavily used samples from that era, I'll check out the Royal House track (I did have it on vinyl in the 80s) and see if thats the one.
