Does anyone else think The JCB song is not dissimilar to Fast Car by Tracy Chapman? Or is it just me?

the only similarity i can hear is the fact that the song is acoustic.......as are many others.

and for the record,fast car was a blatant rip-off of john cougar mellencamp's jack & diane

I don't see it myself. They're both mid to slow tempo songs based predominantly around a solo voice and acoustic guitar, but that's about it. I certainly don't see a marked similarity in the melodies.

The only similarity is surely that both songs are about some sort of vehicle?!

Other than that, I can't see much of a similarity.
