I’m Happy, Is Anyone Else Happy?

What you all up to ? The weather is going between heavy cloud and bright sunshine with a beautiful rainbow arching right over my house , I’m not doing much today, a bit of light housework, a few phone calls and a bit of typing

I am happy nearly all the time.

There are things I would change, of course, but I am absolutely blessed with my life, my family, everything.

Right now I am writing some Talks to deliver on a Caribbean cruise in March, which I am really looking forward to so much.

It means no discos between now and then because i can't risk Covid, but that's a small price to pay.

So yes, I am happy, and plan to stay that way!

Contrary to the personna I may sometimes present on here, I am a very very happy and appreciative soul.

I think on here I am like Victor Meldrew.

Superficial analysis of Victor has him down as a moaning old goat who is never happy and satisfied.

But if you look closely and think about what he moans about, and why, you find someone who simply refuses to accept the rank stupidity and nonsense that surrounds him and gets in the way of him enjoying life.

I entirely understand and empathise with that approach to life.

I try not to moan, but I do mine deep reserves of sarcasm to deal with some of the posts I encounter on here, and that may make me appear negative, and I am happy to confirm that I am not, at all.

I was suffering with anxiety at the weekend but feeling much better as the week has gone on. Just taking a short break now from work then got a meeting at 12 but all good :o)

I'm happy. I'm alive. I can hear the birds singing their hearts out. I am approaching 75 but am still reasonably sound in wind and limb and I still have enough left upstairs to be able to tackle the various crosswords etc which I like doing. What's not to be happy about?

I'm always happy, just life gets me down :-(

I jest, having a good day so far all jobs done on-line and over phone, being for a wander outside (Wow) to the shop, I did wear my mask btw. Very cloudy but the down poor expected held off.

The next tough bit for me today is what to get for dinner (lunch ;-)
