Try the Sex Pistols version of My Way - perfect!

Also, Patti Smith done a punk version of My Generation which is pretty good too x

thankz for that
monster mash - the misfits and Turning Japanese - Incubus
The Dickies did a version of Silent Night and also Nights in White Satin.

surely 'Turning Japanese' was already punk? - it's on most of those 'best punk album...ever' type things anyway.

'My Way' was Sid Vicious solo not the Pistols

The Dickies did loads... amongst which are Paranoid and The Banana Splits
  1. Sex Pistols - (I'm Not Your) Stepping Stone
  2. Sex Pistols - Rock Around The Clock
  3. The Slits - I Heard It Through The Grapevine
  4. The Damned - Eloise
  5. Toy Dolls - Nelly The Elephant

There's a band called Me First & The Gimme Gimmes who do nothing else. Particularly good are Tiffany's 'I Think We're Alone Now' and Jimmy Cliffs' 'I Can See Clearly Now'.

The Batman Theme, David Watts (Kinks?), In the Midnight Hour (Wilson Pickett), by The Jam.
Johnny Was by Stiff Little Fingers, (originally a Bob Marley Song.)
Police and Thieves by The Clash, (originally by Junior Murvin). Both absolute classics.
Waiting for my Man by Slaughter and the Dogs (originally Lou Reed)

Me First & The Gimme Gimmes did a great version of Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder. I also like The Boys Of Summer by The Ataris, and there was also a great version of Up The Junction done by someone... possibly Save Ferris.

Two Little Boys (Rolf Harris) by Splodgenessabounds

I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles (Trad.?) by Cockney Rejects

The Young Ones (Cliff Richard) by The Angelic Upstarts

Streets of London (Ralph McTell) - by The Anti-Nowhere League

White Christmas  (comp. Irving Berlin) - by Stiff Little Fingers (+ loads more 'silly encores')

Helter Skelter (The Beatles) - Siouxsie & The Banshees

Walk On By (Dionne Warwick (comp. Burt Bacharach)) - The Stranglers

and verging more into Goth than punk......

Ziggy Stardust (David Bowie) by Bauhaus

1969 (Iggy & The Stooges)
aswell as (and perhaps more laughably);
Jolene (Dolly Parton),
and
Emma (Hot Chocolate) all by The Sisiters of Mercy.
