They say and try a load of things. If he pushes too hard more will want out.
Meanwhile, if they want to single market trade with the UK, they need to drop the attitude.

Junker is letting it slip (under pressure) what a power- hungry megalomaniac he is. Anyone still in doubt about the future of the EU needs only to note that his speech was classified as 'The state of the Union'..... a title which belongs to the U.S.A.. That is what he wants ........ and that is what is impossible. Europe comprises well-established nation states with their own histories and languages. That is why the EU project will fail. We are better off out of it - no matter what the costs.

Nick Clegg mocked and dismissed Nigel Farage when he warned of an EU military force. Mr Clegg said it was simply not true and called it a 'dangerous fantasy'.
