Does anyone know where the name Coldplay actually came from? Also, was he song Fix You written for anyone in particular? Thanks

The band took the name Coldplay from some friends in college whose band was originally called Coldplay but decided that the name was too depressing. It was originally the name of a book of collected poems by Philip Horky called "Child's Reflections, Cold Play."
