Jordy...how old are you?
Sorry....wrong thread :-)

Valid question, all the same ummmm!
I think so, Sandy.....and not just adverts.....there seem to have been a few Christmas films showing on TV this week.....

I love Christmas but can see how folk get sick to the back teeth when it starts so early...x
Not long before that never ending rendition of "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" Grr !
My Co-op has been selling Mince Pies since late August.....with a sell-by date of only 6 weeks !
The TV channel Movies 24 has re-named itself as Xmas 24 (as it does every year) and is showing that type of American made-for-tv films all day, every day.

Wouldn't that ^ be considered 'cruel and unusual punishment'?
Are your sprouts on yet Sandy?
Question Author
You're just being silly now, Maydup. Everybody knows that the sprouts don't go on 'til the first Sunday in December. ☺
Now he tells me, mine have been on since the first week in August ;-)
'Halloween fireworks'? I missed that meeting. :-)
Probably early Guy Fawkes fireworks.

Any Easter Eggs on sale yet?

As soon as Hallowe'en finished all the ghosty stuff in Tesco miraculously changed to Christmas things including trees! I don't know how they do it, I really don't.
They did it over night, star.
We had Diwali fireworks 2 weeks ago then Halloween ones on Friday and the first of the Nov 5th ones on Saturday . The Christmas TV adverts start when the school summer holidays end in September. They end on Christmas eve to be preplaced by ones for January sales ( that start on Boxing day) and summer holidays.
Last Christmas eve just before closing, my local Tesco was taking down the Christmas items and putting out Easter eggs!
