The US space agency Nasa is proposing something different. They're looking for people who'd be willing to get in to bed - and stay there for 70 days. You're not expected to try and sleep for the duration; you can read, watch TV, study and even carry on with your normal job. You'll also be paid £11,000. You just can't leave your bed.

I heard it on the TV earlier, remarks being made about students everywhere applying :)

I have to rest a lot but 70 days is a loooong time! Not to be able to go outside or maybe control your environment like getting fresh air or get what you want when you need.

Random thought though, I assume you can leave your bed for bathroom breaks and washing and such?
