Les Miserables Film Or Theatre

I have just been to see the film Les Miserables and although I enjoyed the stage production very much, the film version was a lot more emotional because you could see the expressions on the faces more.

I have bought the cd and love the music .

Anyone who has seen the film or stage version, what is your favourite song from it.

I have several but I think Empty Chairs and Empty Tables is one of them.

We're going to see it tomorrow,I've heard it's excellent.Couldn't get on with the stage version which we had on dvd.

Brilliant film production, great singing and acting, but preferred the "atmosphere" of the stage version. Each to their own as the saying goes !!

I have just spent my Sunday afternoon watching it online. Great film - even though it is 2½ hours long.

Haven't seen the theatre version.

The full stage version has never been put on DVD.

Various versions done in the Albert Hall and o2 arena are on DVD, but they are concert versions not the full stage version.

Have seen the stage version so many times. Can't really choose one song but OH loved Do You Hear The People Sing. We played it after his funeral service as the coffin was being taken from the theatre. Fastest exit with a coffin the undertakers had ever done...so hard to not march in time.

On My Own is my favourite. I think Eponine was actually my favourite character.

Master of the House was brilliant as well but I just love Sacha! :)

I've seen it at the theatre and seen the film version from a few years ago with Liam Neeson. I'm looking forward to seeing the new film.
