Morning NoM and Boaty. xxx . A coolish start to the day ! Went to Bruges last week for a coupkle of days and it was sooooo gorgeous. Loads of Christmas lights, the market, the gluwein(well, you have to don't you?), chocs, etc.. Loved it . They make such an effort to be festive. I come back here to Brighton and there are a few half hearted lights. It all looks so drab here.

The German Market meet up sounds like fun. :o} I can't remember the last time I went to one of those in this country. Got to be over 10 years ago!

Morning jan xxx Bruges is a beautiful place. I haven't been there for some time, but always stopped there for a day or two on my way back from Germany in army days.

NoM, have fun at the German market. Yes, you would LOVE Bruges. It's very small, very pretty and I've never yet met anyone who disliked the place.

just read the other posts. bruges is beautiful. and so full of chocolate. and there is so much to see. and i've forgotten where we stayed and where we went to eat but we had a few beautiful days.

went there as part of trip to see pavarotti in concert. wonderful time.
