Andrea Bocelli singing Nessun Dorma on the Strictly results show was great but it was spoiled by the screaming and cheering of the audience when the two dancers were on it really spoiled the occasion. All this cheering when a dance move is made is unnecessary.

Completely agree Mary, we said the same thing. Especially as Andrea is blind and would not have seen the dancers, hope he was told what was happening beforehand. It seemed almost rude of the audience to interrupt his song like that, but I expect they were told when to cheer etc.

I agree Mary. Would have been better if audience were requested to hold the cheering and applause until the song finished.

I agree, they could have just applauded at the end.

I wtas very annoyed about how distracting it must have been for him with the audience clapping and cheering something he couldn't see. It ruined a wonderful performance by him.
I agree too. When you go to a play or a musical, the audience don't interrupt the perfomers mid-way through a speech or song, so why does the Strictly audience behave so rudely? I love Andrea's voice and it would have been nice to hear it properly.

Having said that, I wouldn't have minded if their noise had drowned out 'The Wanted'. They all sounded like someone had grabbed hold of their testicles and squeezed really hard.
Haha Paisley - we said EXACTLY that!!! :))
Didn't spoil it for me at all.

The Wanted! pity another show hadn't wanted them. Agree with comments Andrea Bocelli didn't need any other act, nobody should interrupt Nessun Dorma
