old hard to find two person disco/progressive/teckno band

please someone help me identify this old two person techno/disco band from the 60's, 70's, and/or 80's, the band consist of a dyke looking woman singer and her friend, a skinny guy on a strap-on musical keyboard. the title of one of there song involves "ink" or "pages of a book" or something. i used to listen to then all the time but have since forgotten what they called themselves... please help me. thank you guys
