So they just let them die if they have no money? That sounds bad, and in any case it sounds like blackmail in Usher's case...... 'Pay for the kid or it's your fault he dies'.

just looked up this story. the boy is (by all accounts) BRAIN DEAD. What would be the point in not turning him of?
