No thank you.
Was thinking of going to see him in Sunderland, might just have a look at tickets today, there or Manchester. Sw him in Paris a few years back, absolutely brilliant.
He is one artist that I have never got into.
I first saw Bruce Springsteen on my 19 birthday - and I turned 50 last week
His set then had an interval as he was on so long
I am not going this time but it is on the tv - he is appearing at a festival
TBH - I think I'm a bit old now
He hit his hayday in the 70's in the past 10/15 years he has been terrible living on his reputation and the loyalty of his fans.

I was coerced into buying Wrecking Ball as everyone said it was his best album for many years. Its possibly one of the worst albums I have ever paid for, I compare it to a 17 year old trying to be Dylan.

I wouldn't open the curtains if he was playing in the garden
A tad harsh Dave.

I agree that Wrecking Ball is crap, (and why anyone would want to be that whining pudding Dylan utterly defeats me), but I was coerced into taking the good lady to see Brucie at Hampden Park about two years ago, (I was just about to tell her I was off to Norway to see Linfield, so I needed some Brownie points, and I had been dreading it. He put on a great show and a smile almost cracked my curmudgeonly phisog.
I don't like the political content in the lyrics but I otherwise enjoyed Wrecking Ball (Fathers Day pressie) very much. Strong folk influence from his recent more 'trad' albums and very strong performances from his colleagues.
Certainly better than many more recent pop/rock bands IMO.
