Good morning to each an every one of you. North West Wales is dark, wet and miserable this morning but look on the good side it's Friday. Anybody got anything exciting lined up for the weekend?

Bore da. Being forcibly retired weekends no longer hold any attraction for me, every day is the same - boring.

Morning Mike, I think I would be bored too. Even though I moan about work and things, i'd soon miss getting up in the morning and the general routines of the day.

I will be working and decorating, getting the house ready to sell so we can move to Wales :-)

Morning Welshie & Mike. Looking miserable here. no plans for the weekend, I am still carless. :o{ i think I will be doing some computer work for the festival.

retired and bored Mike? I'm retired and don't have time to be bored, I'm far too busy to work for that matter! I'm having great fun as a manger for Cotswold Canals Trust Stroud on Water festival in June. I also skipper the trip boat on charters, most of them to The Tudor Arms for lunch. Wonderful. :o}

We aren't sure yet, we want stunning views, some land to breed rare animals probably on the outskirts of a village not to close to a town. North or mid Wales maybe, I also need to find work in a Care Home until we can get business up and running.

Didn't you tell me the skipper gets a free lunch, Boaty? After the fabulous meal we had at The Tudor Arms, i'd skipper the boats too!! News on Alba is that she has run out of credit and should be back with us on Wednesday.

Ratter - there are plenty of care homes around the towns of North Wales and plenty of opportunities of buying property with land around the villages. For example, Llandudno has quite a few care homes but 10 minutes down the Conwy Valley there are properties for sale with land. Check out the North Wales Weekly News for a few ideas. But whatever you do, don't forget your wellies!!

Morning all - not usually up and around early enough to see this thread :)

Junior dog thought that it would be amusing to see what happens if he stuck his nose in my ear at 6am ... I think his vocabulary has been enhanced by some new anglo-saxon commands. But then he got fed (which may have been a bad precedent) whilst I made a pint of tea for me.

Grey and windy outside here in Warwickshire, the much postponed push-bike ride looks unlikely again ...

Beejay - I reckon you'll edge it over Edinburgh but Leinsters task is a lot tougher - the froggie sides are very strong at the moment but if they play at their best, i'd just give it to Leinster. Anyway, Noraq is a Leinster woman and I daren't go against her!! (Nor would anyone with any sense lol)
