Unknown song, probably from 80s?

Hi. Does anyone know the name of this song? It is probably 80s song (well, it sounds like it). Google search didn't show any result so far. Thanks in advance.

I believe the song is called "If 6 was 9" which is by jimi hendrix

though this version doesnt sound the same it shares the lyrics, here is a wiki about it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/If_6_Was_9

Sorry, I spent half an hour googling the lyrics a line at a time but found nothing. (Of course the opening line is an exact copy of the Jimi Hendix lyricand bits there after a similar- reference to mountains etc).
It sounds li the sort of song that Russell Watson might sing on Songs of Praise or that Westlife might cover.
Let us know if you ever find the answer as it's a lovely song.

It's an almost exact rip off of Thank You by Led Zepplin. Many of the lyrics are the same, but some have been changed. I thought it might be Whitesnake at first or REO Speedwagon, but no luck so far. Please let us know if you find it.
