line 6 amp

Hi All,
does any one know how to turn off the spider line 6 amp pre-set effects thing? its got 400 sounds of different groups etc, but I can's see anyway to turn it off so that we can just use the reverb, echo,tremelo effects. I looked on google and found the line 6 instructions download, but it does not seem to tell us how to turn it off. ( it might do, but we could not understand it)
