Not seen them myself actually but I've heard them doing live performances on the radio (not the same I know but still) and from everything I've heard the Zutons sound they would be amazing live... that lead singer has some voice.
Her singing sounds exactly the same as when you hear it on an album (except better live) and all the while she's running around the stage and hanging 40 foot in the air from silks whilst spinning at a ridiculously fast speed.
Muse. Absolutely fantastic. Saw them at Cambridge Corn Exchange about 7 years ago (I must have been the oldest person there). But saw them in Nottingham last month, and not only were they better than ever, there were a few other "old farts" there!!! (I'm 49, so hope my opinion counts).
Definitely Muse. I have seen them three times now and they are always fantastic. I did see Radiohead earlier this year at Wolverhampton and have to say they were excellent too.
The View. I saw these at the academy in Manchester last week and was well impressed. They`ve been supporting Primal Scream recently also. (theviewareonfire.com)
just seen Kasabian at Earls Court not sure if they can be called best live act but they were really good - seen loads of bands this year probably one of the best = gagging to see Muse definitely on list for next year as only heard great things
a gypsy ukrainian punk band named Gogol Bordello are absolutely fantastic live, definately worth seeing!
and also the Kaiser Chiefs give sooo much effort into their performance.
can i ask why you are onyl giving stars to people who mention muse? people are answering your question, and well might i add, yet you are only giving people stars when they answer with muse even yourself.
