Here one for the avid Springsteen fan,

In the music video of Highway Patrolman, as Frankie is driving down the Highway there is a half naked indian that runs across the road, almost getting killed by Frankie.

Can anyone tell me the relevance of said Indian? I love the video, but always aks the question....Why the Indian

Is there a video for "Highway Patrolman" from the 1982 album "Nebraska" (I thought "Atlantic City" was the only track from that album to have a video release)... or did you watch clips from the 1991 film "The Indian Runner" (written and directed by Sean Penn based on the lyrics of the song) to which the song had been applied as the soundtrack?

... unless of course this became the "official" video a decade after the song's release.
