I'm trying to find a song that i thought was called "White Lines", but I just keep finding that "Don't do it" one.
It was a hit in the late 70s, I think and I had it on a single.
I can remember it was a pale pink and white label, but can't remember the band!
They were probably a one hit wonder.
"Whose side are you?
Whose side of the line are you?
Whooose side are you?
Won't you tell me please?"
and and another faster bit,
"there are two white lines down the road and there's two beside you"
I've not much chance have ?

Aw! Delboy!
I was just gonna triumphantly post that I had found the answer!
You beat me to it - well done you.
My hunch about the letter P was right then. I think they were just known as "Planets"
Phew, I'll sleep tonight!
(Wish I could hear it again though) x
The band was called THE PLANETS - my mate Barry Lines was the guitarist . . .
