Bert Jansch is a british folk guitarist. I believe he was a principle member of Pentangle who were leading lights in the folk rock movement of the late 60's / early 70's.

Cheeybat is correct he was with Pentangle along with another very good bloke on guitar John Renbourn

Yes Bert is indeed a very good guitarist and his vocals are quite acceptable too.....check out his guitar solo `Angie` its superb..........and if you in the Xmassy mood try his recording of In the Bleak Mid Winter
