If I heard a song I might recognise it, but it's not a group I know of, really.

They have survived for much longer than I expected and their success in America surprised me- they have probably been the most successful new British group over there in this millennium

They seem to be travelling in the right direction at the moment. They have done very well.

Story of My Life was good. Some of their songs are very derivative though- What Makes You beautiful starts with the intro from Summer Nights and a recent single sounded just like Def Leppard's Pour Some Sugar on Me

I personally think they're an incredible example of an impressive marketing machine. Having said that, we've had plenty of artists that record companies have tried to promote in the same way that haven't been as successful. On their singing and performances I think they are both ok, if uninspiring.

They are a perfect example of the music marketing machine, plus they do have good songs.

I appreciate they are not aimed at me personally, but I can see their appeal.

I would not play their music from choice.
