what do you think will happen to my friend who flipped his car at 50-60 mph in a 30 mph zone. 3 people injured but nothing critical. he has just passed his test, will he have to resit his test and what sort of ban will he get.

Well one can only HOPE he will have to re-sit his test. Except this time, it won't just be a standard test, it will be an Extended test which is much harder to pass!

He will almost certainly need some help to pass this - have a look at www.TheExExaminer.co.uk. They specialise in helping people in his situation.

The Trog
Showing off in front of his mates I take it. I'd like to see his licence removed until he has the maturity to drive a car sensibly.

I'm all for upping the age limit, especially for young men, to 21 - (most) young men don't have the maturity to handle a car.

Driving at up to 60 in a 30 and flipping his motor - he's a complete cretin.
He won't be able to afford insurance for a while!
Somone did that locally and ended up killing his best mate. Coming to the end of a 2 year sentance at the moment - but the family of the dead lad will have to live on with it. You can't give a gun to anyone - yet you can pass a very simple driving test, go out with what equates to a loaded gun and get away with most things.

Education - is what he needs - in responsibility. I hope its a long time before he gets his license back. I'm all for upping the age to 21years.
Sorry, haven't got an answer for this that doesn't involve using the phrase - 'Stupid w*nker'.

Basically, he's scr*wed.
