Anyone know where i can get cheap monthly insurance?

I move to America next month but my car insurance has lapsed. I only need insurance for 1 month but can't take out a full policy then cancel it as i have already cancelled my bank account so can't set up a direct debit. Can anyone advise on a short term company or another route? Many thanks

The maximum term offered by most insurers (such as the AA) is 28 days, but that might be sufficient for your needs. (If you actually needed a slightly longer term you could, presumably, simply take out two separate policies). There are plenty of options available via a Google search:

Thanks. I was kinda not wanting to pay £250+ as i only need it for 1 month. It is looking like bus & taxi might be a better option!
