Can anyone tell me the differance between the GTO 3.0 Twin turbo, 4x4, 4ws and the GTO VR-4? is it that the VR-4 have a ^ speed gear box or somethin? wot makes the VR-4 so much better? and have they got the same engine. thanks

They are all one in the same.  GTO in Japan, 3000GT outside of Japan.  The VR-4 name appears to have been added just as a sales thing.  All versions have the 3.0 V6 twin-turbo engine, all are AWD and 4WS and all have 4ABS.  All versions also had the same gearbox options when new.  Adjustable suspension and exhaust and Active-Aerodynamics were features added in the mid-90's but were withdrawn by the 1999 model.  Its main competitor was the Nissan Skyline GT-R.
