Ginger went to get me one this weekend. I've just found the receipt (emptying his pockets for the wash) 3k he spent....the nutter. I would rather have the cash...lol

What's the most you would spend? I would have been happy with a few hundred....

Oh my god I would kill my bloke if he spent that much on a ring. thats ridiculous! I'd be happy with a £50.00 jobby

Question Author
I seen one I liked for £265 and I thought that was a bit too expensive.

We could have paid for the wedding for 3k.....Vegas jobby..
Question Author
Yeah....I'm a crap liar so don't bother trying to.

He knows what kind of things I like....so it should be ok :-/
It isnt the fact you could get so much more stuff, I would be thinking some people would kill for that kind of money
Question Author
I'm quite shocked....he's generally quite tight...lol. He's the kind of bloke that won't throw things away....just in case it can be used again.
I've been offered a hula hoop and a 'red ring' from a packet of haribo as he knows I like red. The hula hoop was actually an upgrade on the haribo. So far I'm holding out for either a kinder egg suprise ring or one from a cerial packet. I have high standards to maintain.
3k, i could do a lot with 3k....
if you like it and he has happily paid for it then just accept it :)
he must think u are worth it so good on him
Question Author
Well I won't turn it down :-)

I'd be scraed of losing it though....

Congratulations :o)

Cheers Jack. He did actually propose last summer....the lazy git :-)
maybe attach a safety chain to it then round your neck lol
Well to be honest, I'd be made up. Yes it is a little on the expensive side but my first husband bought a cheap and nasty thing from Crapners and I hated it the whole of my married life.

Good on ginger for putting his money where his mouth is!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like you though, I'd be terrified of losing it! An ex bf bought me some very expensive designer jewellery and on the few occasions I wear it I am terrified of losing it!
Question Author
I am chuffed. It's a nice feeling knowing he thinks I'm worth it....I keep grinning to myself :-)))
I would have flogged him one of mine for less than that.......I only have diamonds though.
