gmaps pedometer - allows you to draw straight lines between 2 places. You will need to set the country to UK before starting under more options this gives a new drop down menu at the top to select UK http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/ |

I went into this website & found London & my home village but couldn't see what to do next. Sorry, I must be getting old! Any other suggestions?

(Fri 18:29 03/Jul/09) If you have Google Earth you can measure using Imperial or Metric distances by clicking on the ruler icon, zoom into your home and click the mouse once, zoom out and stretch the line to Hyde Park Corner. Job done. | |
