I'm considering the purchase of a 2005 54 Reg VAUXHALL Astra 1.7 CDTi 16v SRi with approx 80,000 on the clock. Can anyone advise as to anything in particular I should be aware of.

I read a motoring magazine around 12 months ago in which they bought a 2005 '05' Astra diesel and stripped down to pieces to see what wear and tear it had in 3 years / 60,000 miles.

They struggled to find any, other than normal signs of running in.
