My husband bought a Y reg Renault Laguna. There is no drivers manual with it. After having it serviced, the service light is on on the dash board - how do we turn this off. Also there is a small icon of the car with only 3 of the 4 tyres highlighted. Any help would be appreciated

the "service" light on renaults is misleading,it is actually an engine management light showing there is a fault somewhere.it could be the tyre pressure sensor, which is denoted by the icon you describe, the car needs to have any fault codes read to ascertain where the fault lies.

Not sure if this will help but in my haynes manual which only goes upto W reg (2000) it says - Service indicator restting, Note if the milage before the next due service is less than 1250 miles, the spanner symbol on the display will flash each time the ignition is switched on.Within 10 seconds of switching on the ignition, press the re-set button below the speedometer, and hold the button depressed untill the number of miles displayed begins to flash.Hold the button depressed - the number of miles on the display will move left, along the display, and the figures for the re-set valve will appear on the right of the display.Continue to hold the button depressed untill the desired re-set number is displayed in its entinety, then release the button.
