humming noise in fiesta 2002

i get this humming sound from the front of my engine for a few seconds at 2000 revs just before i change to higher gear. does anyone know what it is?

thanks guys - turns out its my power steering pump and the belt that drives all other manor of things. how very odd! have just replaced water pump and timing belt last month.bummer!
