remote centrel locking

ive just got a vauxhall vectra when i use remote 2 lock it don,t lock drivers door but after about eight times does can anyone help us

Are all the other doors locking? The solenoid on the drivers door might need replacing - sorry, not sure how much that might be, but bound to be more than replacing the remote battery - so try that first!
