My rev counter is flucturating on my Peugeot 106 Zest 3

It keeps going up and down whilst I am driving. When I put my foot down on the exilarator it goes up and then goes back to normal then goes high again?

Do you know how to fix this problem?

I had that. It turned out to be an expensive clutch problem. Ouch!
if the revs on the counter are going up without the engine revs going up, then it may be a loose wire. However if your foot is not on the clutch and the engine revs are going up then it will be a clutch problem.
where can I get an exilarator for my car? I've only got a boring old accelerator, I need to be exilerated!
