Please can anyone recommend any nice but reasonably priced hotels in Manchester?

Also, have you been on the tour of old trafford? If so, what was your opinion of it?

Near the city centre but also within reach of old trafford if possible. I'm looking to take my boyfriend in October for his birthday - planning well in advance lol!

Try travek lodge, premier lodge etc
www.thelowry hotel.com offers a 'best available rate' at 115 for a double room (no brekkie or parking included) if you want somewhere a bit swish! its a gorgeous hotel

i've stayed at MEN premier inn which was a brillient location for the centre, though the service at the bar left a lot to be desired. only 66 though!

* brilliant not brillient!
