fitting a car stereo

have been bought a new car stereo for xmas for my mgf but having trouble getting it fitted, there are certain cars halfords dont like to touch and my mgf's one of them unfortunately.
anyone got any experience of these cars and how to fit a new stereo and speakers?

if your not sure,then look in the local phone book for auto electrician and get them to fit it,shouldent cost a lot.
