vauxhall astra problems

hi all, im having a couple of problems with my vauxhall astra, its a 99 T reg 1.6 petrol. first problem im having is the front wipers, when their on internedtiate they only go half way and stop rather than the full rotation, theirs is nothing physicaly in the way? does anyone have any answers please? second problem im having is, 2 days ago i changed my rear brake light but now wen my lights are on for night driving all the rear brake lights are staying on and no normal lights? their are no other bulbs broke and ve checked the fuses all seems fine? any clues?please

did you change the bulb or the light unit

check the fog light switch is off may be a simple solution to the problem

the relay is usually in with the fuses either in the car or under the bonnet not sure on this model they are the big square ones turn on the wipers and pull them out one at a time till the wipers stop change relay check book that came with car or check on internet

thanks for all the replys im gonna give it a go tomoz i changed the bulb not the light unit. do u know where id find the wiper blade motor?
